Shopping At WilliamsBurg Premium Outlets, Virginia (USA)

During my business trip to Norfolk in Virginia, I had chosen my stay at the Courtyard Norfolk Downtown by Marriott. It is ideal stay for business or leisure as it is in central Norfolk where accessibility to the business district and some of the places of interest eg.Chrysler Museum of Art and Children Museum of Virginia are just nearby.

My stay for the 3 nights were enjoyable. The room was clean and the bed came with 2 types of pillows (1 harder and 1 softer) to suit your comfort. Hotel staffs were polite and helpful. They provide 24 hour valet parking service incase you are driving there. Parking charges for the entire day is USD19 (May 2016's rate).

Planned my trip to the Williamsburg Premium Outlets the night before after finishing all my business stuffs. I woke up early at about 8.30am and had breakfast at the Starbucks cafe near the lobby area in the hotel. After checking with the Hotel receptionist about the toll fee on the roads, I made way to get my car. FYI, there was no need to pay for any toll fee.

This was the Mazda CX-5 which I had rented from Hertz at the airport. Quite a comfortable car it was. Set the GPS to the destination and ready to set off from the hotel. Distance from hotel to the outlets was about 49 miles and about 1 hour drive.

Traffic on a weekend Saturday morning was not that bad, except for some slow down on merging lanes due to road works. Photo taken on route 664 entering a tunnel heading towards Hampton.

On route 64 after tunneling out, you could see the sea view on both side of the roads. Traveling up another 15 minutes, there were some petrol kiosks with food where you could take a break.

Reached the destination at about 10.30am. GPS estimation was quite accurate, thanks to the modern technology I did not have to read maps!

Parking lots were plentiful. However I realised after 2pm when the crowds drew in, it became harder to find a lot.

This is the layout of the all the stores at Williamsburg Premium Outlets. Total participating stores are over 135 which includes Burberry, Coach Outlet, Nautica, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Outlet, Tommy Hilfiger and etc.
For the benefit of shoppers, this is the list of directories of all the participating stores you can find over there. If you are having limited time, you may just brow through and plan your visits to your favorite stores in order to save time.

Don't worry if you came out from a particular store and got lost. Map stands could be found in almost every row of the outlets.

Take a look at Michael Kors. 40% discount at some of these bags were really a good buy. It may not be the latest design that you could see at the retail store, but most of them were still in trend I would say.

Woot......saw that 60% discount for Kate Spade handbags. Temptations were hard to resist!

Give a grab on some of the colorful bags from Coach outlet. Man's wallet and sling bags were available too.

You might not want to miss Calvin Klein which offers modern and sophisticated styles for both women and men. Wide range of apparels, handbags, wallets, underwear available.

For those who like sports gears will surely find some good deals at Reebok and Asics.

Other brands like Nike, Puma and New Balance also have their stores at the outlets.

Crocs is another stylist yet comfortable brand of loafers popular with both adults and youngsters. Enjoy up to 70% discount.

To get your outdoors comfortably, then do not forget to get your Timberland outdoor gears here. You may get up to 50% discount during end-of-season sales.

Need a break? Have some popcorn at Kettle Corn or have a bite of prezel from Auntie annie's.

Food Lion will be a good place to relax and have your lunch/dinner break. Selection from burgers, hotdogs, salads, pizzas and also chinese food.

Kitchen Collection is where you will find a wide variety of cookware, kitchen appliances and bakeware including top brands like KitchenAid, Lodge, Hamilton Beach and Vitamix.

Shop by color and material makes Le Creuset popular with cast iron cookware, bakeware, pots, pans and kitchen tools.

Choose your own 'Boss' at Hugo Boss store for classic suits, luxury watches, women's dresses and designer shoes for men and women.

Bath & Body Works offers high quality and all natural skin care and bath products. Get some great deals here for own use and also ideal for gifts.

There were 2 Sunglass Hut over at Williamsburg Premium Outlet. Various designer brands to choose from with big discount.

Samsonite may be your option if you have bought too many stuffs and have no more room for your luggage. Samsonite is an American luggage manufacturer which offers not only travel luggage, but also suitcases, travel bags, backpacks and even laptop bags. Bringing a R2D2 as a travelling 'companion' is not bad an idea.
Happened to see this exotic looking vehicle which had only 1 rear wheel. Don't be mistaken as neither the roadster nor the cool lady was for sale. I later found out that it was actually a motorcycle-Polaris Slingshot 3. Hipsters like her also like to shop here!

The above were just some of the shops I visited. There are so much to see and shop at Williamsburg Premium Outlets. It is a good place for the weekend's shopping with tonnes of saving. For more information, you may refer to the official website below;
