Father’s Day is a day whereby the world honors all fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, and father figures for their contributions to the lives of their children. This day celebrates fatherhood and male parenting. Although it is celebrated on a variety of dates worldwide, many observe this day on the 3rd Sunday in June. It is often celebrated through gifts, dining out, greeting cards etc.
Every year New Creation Church of Singapore will distribute father's day gift. This year is unexceptional. It is an analogue watch with standard NCC logo and wordings of 'The Year of His Restoration 2015' on the watch's face. At the behind there was engraving that shows,'Joel 2:25 "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten." 'What a magnificent gift it is.
Anyone can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad. I want to congratulate all the men out there who work diligently to be good fathers. Be it you are biological fathers, stepfathers or spiritual fathers, I wish all fathers a Happy Father's Day with abundant grace and a year full of blessings.
